12th January 2009 Sadly Dr Jenny Martin will be leaving us on the 27th February. We will be very sorry to lose her, but wish her all the very best in the future. Here are a few words from her:
“When I first came to Clarendon lodge in August 2000 I was still a GP registrar and became a fully fledged GP under the steady guidance of Dr Fullbrook. During the years that followed I have enjoyed getting to know and help so many people and have always felt so welcome here. I have particularly enjoyed the opportunity to develop my interest in diabetes and I wish to thank all of you who have patiently journeyed with me as my knowledge and confidence grew in the early days. I am very sad to be leaving, however I look forward to the new challenges and opportunities as I become a GP partner at Whitnash Medical Centre. Dr Fahmy will be taking over my general GP role here and I leave happy in the knowledge that someone so cheery and competent will continue after me – perhaps with her there wont be that ‘traditional’ wait that you have become accustomed to when waiting to see me! I leave with some very happy memories and wish you all a fond farewell”
