Changes to Repeat Prescription Processing Time Posted or Updated on 20 Apr 2017

Due to the increasing need for medication to be issued on a repeat basis, we have had to increase the time it takes to process repeat prescription requests from 2 working days to 3.  This will alow us to meet the expectations of our patients in delivering a prompt and efficient service.

We must ask that when you need a supply of your medication that you request this in good time.  Part of the reason for extending our processing time is due to patients who do not request medication until they have run out resulting in urgent processing which has an impact on those who do submit their request in good time.
